Privacy
aCube Solutions (hereafter referred to by name or as either “we”, “us” or “our”) is a fully owned subsidiary of the FlexSystem Group. We regard our customer’s privacy (either prospective, actual or past), as one of our most important values and therefore want you to understand how we protect the information of our customers or prospective employees who make use of the services and products offered though this website (the “Company Website”), through non-website sales & marketing activities (offline), APP store downloads, or through our professional services teams.
Data will be kept and used in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance in Hong Kong.
Third Party Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or transfer any personally identifiable information (PII) unless required to do so by law. The only exception is where we need 3rd parties in order to discharge our operational and contractual obligations. In these circumstances we ensure that those parties agree to keep this information confidential to the same or better standard than us.
Company Website “Business Contact Information “, such as your name, position, physical address, telephone number(s), email address, and company name may be collected, encrypted and sent should contact be made with us.
Non-Website Sales and Marketing Activity
Typically we collect Business Contact information, as defined above, and also some details of specific software or service solution areas that you are looking to investigate further.
APP Store Downloads
APPS work as a companion cloud app to our other solution sets (“Applications”), and do not operate exclusively on a standalone basis. When downloading and performing the in-app registration process you will be asked to enter authenticated identification details as appropriate, and these may include, inter alia, your name, email address etc that are required to use our solution sets.
As part of the security protocols within our solution sets we collect certain specific information (“Log Data”) that your device sends whenever you access our Applications. This Log Data may include, inter alia, information such as your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, the time and date of your visit, the type of mobile device being used, your mobile device’s actual unique device ID, and the functions of our Application that you visit.
In addition, we sometimes use third-party services such as Google Analytics that collect, monitor and analyze this type of information in order to increase our Application’s functionality. These third-party service providers have their own privacy policies addressing how they use such information.
Professional Services
On-site or off-site services may see some or all parts of your data being requested by us to fulfil the requirements specified in your order. In addition on occasions we may request access to your data to perform upgrades, investigate performance issues, or to apply fixes to software programs. No data is used for other purposes other than that stated above.
Prospective Employees
From time to time we may publish vacant positions on the “company website” or other media and request, inter alia, for a CV, references, salary expectation etc. We may also in the process of filling positions request information from third parties, such as for an employment reference check, and may further retain your information for a limited time to consider you for other job opportunities within the broader FlexSystem Group.
European Privacy Rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for European customers we are a Data Processor who processes personal data on behalf of the Data Controller. In some circumstances, and for certain customers who contract with us, we may be a Data Controller.
